Both are similar in taste and filling options. The difference is pie is a top+bottom crust. Cobbler is top only. Try these recipes.

Makes 1 pie Prep & Cook Tim: 1 hr 20 minutes

DIRECTIONS 1. Combine sugar and cinnamon. 2. Line the bottom of a pie dish with dough. 3. Arrange apples in layers atop dough. Sprinkle each layer with cinnamon sugar combo.  4. Dot top layer with small pieces of butter.  5. Cover with top crust. 6. Place on lowest rack in 450 degrees F oven. Bake until gold brown,  ~10 minutes, Serve warm or cold.
