Gluten-Free Cheeseburger Macaroni

Being gluten free means avoiding foods that contain the protein gluten. Gluten is most commonly found in grains like wheat, barley, and rye. Some processed foods can be gluten free as well, including rice, corn, and quinoa pasta, crackers, and granola bars.There are many health benefits to being gluten free. People who are gluten intolerant or have celiac disease will benefit from avoiding gluten as it can cause inflammation, joint pain, upset stomach, and difficulty digesting food. Gluten free diets may also help reduce the risk of obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Additionally, some people may benefit from avoiding gluten due to digestive problems or bloating.

-2 tablespoons vegetable oil -1 medium onion, diced -1 lb 94% lean ground beef -1 teaspoon garlic powder -1 teaspoon onion powder -1 teaspoon smoked paprika -2/3 cup ketchup -2 tablespoons gluten-free Worcestershire sauce -1/4 cup light brown sugar -Salt, to taste -2 cups gluten-free macaroni, cooked according to package instructions -1 cup shredded cheddar cheese -1/4 cup sliced dill pickles


1. Heat oil in a large sauté pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes. 2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. 3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine. 4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. 5. Pour mixture over the beef and stir to combine. Season with salt, to taste. 6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until sauce has thickened. 7. Add cooked macaroni to the pan and stir to combine. 8. Add cheddar cheese and pickles to the pan, and stir until cheese has melted. 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
