-2 tablespoons vegetable oil -1 medium onion, diced -1 lb 94% lean ground beef -1 teaspoon garlic powder -1 teaspoon onion powder -1 teaspoon smoked paprika -2/3 cup ketchup -2 tablespoons gluten-free Worcestershire sauce -1/4 cup light brown sugar -Salt, to taste -2 cups gluten-free macaroni, cooked according to package instructions -1 cup shredded cheddar cheese -1/4 cup sliced dill pickles
Instructions
1. Heat oil in a large sauté pan or skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and cook until soft, about 3-4 minutes. 2. Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes. 3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Stir to combine. 4. In a small bowl, mix together ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. 5. Pour mixture over the beef and stir to combine. Season with salt, to taste. 6. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until sauce has thickened. 7. Add cooked macaroni to the pan and stir to combine. 8. Add cheddar cheese and pickles to the pan, and stir until cheese has melted. 9. Serve hot and enjoy!
